-By Faith or By Sight-

In God's word in 2Co 5:7 says "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
The average Christian today walks by what they see rather than what the Word of God says. And that's the reason why we have so many Yo-Yo Christians, up one day and down the next. Never in the Bible does it teach up and down Christianity. The Bible does teach us to be stable, immovable and steadfast when it comes to standing on His Word. We are called to walk by Faith in order to change our situation and circumstances that we face each day. Walking by Faith is so simple that we often end up confusing ourselves when we try to walk by Faith. The Bible never says to try but to do it. Its very simple, whatever situation you are in find a verse of scripture that will oppose it and stand on it until it changes. Gods Word is proven, and far too many Christians doubt His Word, exalting the problem higher. Lots of Christians say they believe the Bible but when the pressure hits are they still around believing and standing on His Word?

When was the last time you were thrown in a lions den?, or into a fiery furnace?, or was sentenced to be executed? If that was the case where would your Faith be? In these last days God is looking for Faith in the believer and if He finds none then He cannot help as much as he would like to. David was a young man who stood out from all of the nation of Israel because he decided to confront Goliath, and instead of walking away in fear and trembling as the rest of them did, he decided to believe his covenant of protection he had with God concerning enemies that would arise against him, he believed what was written in the Old Testament as a reality. You need to be prepared to face the Goliath's in your life, because they are not just going to go away. Get in the Word, pray, declare, believe what you read in the Bible.

A Christian who is unstable in his walk is a Christian who is unstable in his Faith. Faith is steadfast, immovable and a servant to the believer. In Matthew 8:5-10, It talks about a centurion who had faith in just the word alone that Jesus spoke. That Faith made Jesus marvel. Can you believe just the Word alone? Or do you need some proof that it would work? This world is getting worse and if you don't increase in faith you will decrease with the world.

-The Lost Boy-

Once a little boy was lost in the woods. The alarm was sounded; people at the church meeting stopped; the whole congregation and neighborhood responded. Fishermen abandoned their nets and businessmen closed their shops. Farmers left the fields and women their washing in the tub. Everyone left what they were doing to look for the lost boy. The night was now dark but they kept searching for him. After hours of search, he was found, and oh, the joy that was felt because of the rescue!

Today that boy is grown. He is lost again! But this time no one seems to care. Mom and Dad are busy with other things. The church does not seem to care. No alarm was sent our. Yet, a far worse fate awaits him now. You see, he is not lost in sin! And an eternal Hell awaits him now.

Always remember the Word of God for today...:)
